Newlyweds Russell Wilson and Ciara have seemingly been in the honeymoon stage throughout their entire relationship, and now that these two lovebirds have finally tied the knot, there's no denying that this pair is thinking about their future as a family.
However, right now isn't the best time to start taking those steps. "They haven't talked more about wanting kids but they both want to start a new family together," a source tells E! News. "They are focused on their respective careers right now."
Regardless of not rushing into starting their own family, Wilson has taken on the role of "proud" stepdad to Ciara's son, Future Jr., and it's something he adorably gushes about.
"You think about how important life is...me and Ciara just got married," Wilson told Maria Shriver on her "Architects for Change" web series (which you can watch here).
"She has a little man, he's awesome and cute as can be, he's a special kid. I'm a stepdad now. When I see this kid, he's 2 years old, he's so sweet and loving, always has a smile on his face. Being a stepfather, it's about loving the child because the child can do something amazing in his life."
Wilson has always had a soft spot when it comes to inspiring the next generation, and has made it a priority to help inspire youth with his Why Not You foundation.
It is the Foundation's mission "to empower change in the world one individual at a time. Often "we think about the big picture, if we can change one kid at a time, heart at a time, soul at  time, it's the snowball effect."
